Emilia Moran, born and raised in Paterson, NJ, has been a lifelong student and aficionada of films. From a young age, Emilia watched and studied the different aspects of filmmaking, developing a deep appreciation for such filmmakers as Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, and Martin Scorsese, to name a few. She furthered her obsession by studying film production at Seton Hall University, from which she graduated in May of 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Communications. She went on to complete her Master of Fine Arts Degree from City College, CUNY in June of 2006, with a concentration in Film Production, earning a Journeyman award for most development achieved throughout the program. During her time as a student, Emilia completed and assisted on several student productions of television shows and short films as well as numerous professional industrial and commercial videos. Currently, Emilia is working at Sony Electronics, Inc, and maintains her connection with films through substitute teaching and freelance work.
