Native Georgian, Elizabeth Strickler explores liminal spaces and dark crevices using film, video and interactive design. She uses her Southern childhood as a base to evoke dark atmospheres and tension in the mythical worlds she conjures. Her short films and multimedia works have been programmed through out the US, Canada and Europe. A passionate supporter of independent media, she works as the post- production supervisor of the Digital Arts Entertainment Lab. She has just finished shooting her thesis film, Going to the Beach, a science fiction noir film that will complete her MFA in Digital Film and Arts at Georgia State University.
