PODCAST with DAVID MARTIN COHEN - David talks about being the TV SPEC Screenplay winner with his ENTOURAGE script, the process of writing a TV SPEC and what's in the future for ENTOURAGE with Matthew Toffolo!

David Martin Cohen: Born to two avid enthusiasts of the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle, David developed a fascination with words and language at a young age. That interest continued into David’s college years when he majored in English at UCLA. During that time, David co-wrote and co-produced “Heavens to Betsy,” a comedic short film set in a university.

After graduating, the people of John Cossette Productions gave David his first professional writing job when they hired him as a writer for the 2007 BET Awards. Shortly thereafter, David collaborated on a rewrite of the feature film adaptation of Three Nights in August, a book by Buzz Bissinger, author of Friday Night Lights. David recently completed his second year as a writer for the BET Awards and currently has an internship with the National Geographic Channel. In addition to writing, David performs stand-up comedy at numerous venues throughout Los Angeles and San Diego including the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store, and the Hollywood Improv.

David's TV Spec Screenplay was showcased at the WILDsound Screenplay Festival in August 2008
