My screenplay is about a child that lives out his dreams of being a cop at his nearby neighborhood park.
2. Why did should people vote for your 1page script?
People should vote for my script because I gave readers many sides of what an unsupervised kid can get into wrapped up in one page..lol
3. How long have you been writing screenplays?
I have ben writing screenplays for eight years now..
4. What film have you seen the most in your life?
I have seen Star Wars the most with Predators making a very close second!
5. What artist in the industry would you love to work with?
As far as writing, one of the guys that I really look up to is fan fav. Justin Marks. I would like to work with Will Smith, I would love for him to perform something that I have written.
6. How many screenplays have you written?
ahhhhhhh..the good ones?...10..lol
7. Ideally, where would you like to be in 5 years?
In five years I would like to be hanging the sign up to my production office!
8. Describe your process; do you have a set routine, method for writing?
I'm all over the place when it comes to process. You could be talking about church, and you say one thing that sparks an ideal for me to write about, and then I will not even remember what you said for the rest of the conversation, because i'm drafting a scene in my head. For the most part, I need silence when I write. I'm not one of those guys that can zone out with Jay-Z or Cold play banging in the background and while CSI in so. In my house, I have found that toilets are a nice place to get typing done.
9. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
I'm pretty passionate about lifting weights, my friends say i'm the strongest nerd ever.
10. What influenced you to enter the WILDsound Script Contest?
Since I tend to talk to much, I was trying to work on that aspect of my life. Then I ran across the one page contest and thought, maybe I can train myself to tell my stories in condensed formats, then maybe i'll start to cut down on how much I talk! lol
11. Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
Yes, What ever weird ticks you need to create stick to them. People that are not creative will not understand you in anyway, so just do what makes you comfortable.
