Commentator Recap:
GOTHAM FORESTS – It was a battle of monsters at midnight. Well, 10 P.M., but close enough. The moon was full and the forest was silent.
10:00 P.M. – Venom made his way through the forest, camouflaged as he walked through. However, the noises being made were a dead giveaway to his whereabouts. He could sense that Clayface was near and took momentary cover behind a large oak tree.
10:08 P.M. – The tree then shape shifted suddenly. It was Clayface and grabbed Venom is a vice grip, thrashing him around against the ground and other surrounding trees.
10:12 P.M – Venom instantaneously began clawing away at Clayfaces arm, shredding clumps everywhere, weakening the grip.
10:18 P.M – Clayface’s hold finally broke and Venom shot a web and swung up into a tree. Clayface recovered and absorbed his loose pieces as he started climbing the tree after Venom.
10:22 P.M. – Venom turned from the branch he stood on and started to shake the tree. Loose branches, leaves and other objects began to fall down, pelting Clayface. No help though, he continued to climb.
10:30 P.M. – Venom had started climbing again, and had now reached the top. Clayface was coming close. Venom used his webbing and swung to a nearby tree top.
10:34 P.M. – Clayface finally reached the top looking for Venom. Suddenly from the darkness of another tree, his webbing shot out and hooked onto the top of Clayface’s tree.
10:37 P.M. – Venom began to pull, as the tree started to bend and groan at the top. Clayface held onto several branches with newly formed limbs holding onto them all. Meanwhile another part of his body maintained balance with the tree and readied for an attack from Venom.
10:42 P.M. – Venom struggled to pull the tree over, but finally accomplished it. As Clayface hesitantly reading to cross from tree to tree he released his new limbs hold. Just as he released his last hold, Venom released the webbing and the tree vaulted back to it’s original position, in doing so, sling shot Clayface across the forest and into a nearby lake.
10:47 – After hitting the water, Clayface did not re appear for over 3 minutes. Judges decision was made.
DECISION: VENOM
Superhero Battle Rules:
One hour time limit.
Rendering opponent immobile for longer than 3 minutes constitutes a win.
Players may forfeit at any time by discarding their weapons or removing their masks.
