The oldest of five, CJ Brooks was born and raised in the rural hills outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Along with a bachelor's degree in Theater & Communications, he considers himself an avid film lover having seen over 1800 films by the time he was 30. He has worked as a DJ and promotions officer for EnergyFM90, an alternative radio station out of Erie, Pa and wrote music reviews for NOiSE magazine. He has spent the last 7 years working with the critically acclaimed Writers' Theatre stage company and has recently begun handling podcast interviews for the upcoming MediaAddict website devoted to personal productivity and success. Although he has mediocre success with stage acting and modest reviews for several of his one acts plays, his passion is screenwriting. He has several scripts optioned with independent film companies across the continent who are diligently looking for investments. CJ lives in Chicago with his newlywed wife and claims a happy marriage.
