Christopher was born and raised in the village of Arthur, Ontario. He holds an MFA in Film Studies from York University, a BA in English Literature and Film Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a diploma in Media Arts from Sheridan College. His live action films and videos have screened in festivals internationally, and his work as a commercial animator has appeared in television broadcasts around the world.
The Magic Projector is Chris’ first independent animated project, which was created as his thesis project at York.
Chris is a Professor in the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Animation) Program at Sheridan College, where he hopes to train many excellent stop motion animators over the years to come!
