My granddad introduced me to classic Hollywood of the 1930s films, Laurel and Hardy, Marx Bros and others at the age of two. I immediately became interested in action by re-enacting their roles and quickly developed a sound understanding of visual narrative.
At junior school I found myself writing my own little scripts/books for re-occurring characters like the Ninja Turtles. In the first year of Secondary School I wrote a short sci-fi book titled ‘Surrounded’. I was praised by my English teacher.
After leaving secondary school, I chose which A levels to study, Chemistry, Engilsh Literature, Media Studies. It was in Media Studies, whilst writing essays and a script for a five minute film that I realised this is where I would like to be- making films or at least near the film industry.
I have been on a video production course and made five short films within the deadline.
