Chris Owens Bio
Canadian-born actor, Chris Owens, has appeared in more than 40 television series and movies in the last 20 years. He was nominated for a Genie Award for his performance in the film, The Uncles in 2000 playing a restaurant manager dealing with his mentally ill sister, slacker brother and his own relationship issues. His is known mostly by people in his ongoing role as Special Agent Jeffrey Spender on the popular FOX series, The X-Files, appearing in more than 25 episodes during their popular run and can be seen frequently on TV in their syndication run. Recent credits include: Till Death Due Us Part, Rent-A-Goalie, Dresden Files, the CBS mini-series Hanssen, and the Touchstone release, The Recruit. He lives and plays hockey in Toronto and is one of the busiest actors in the city.
