CHRIS DEBOER

Chris DeBoer has spent the last twelve years producing, writing and directing for film and television. She worked as series producer for the Eyes of Nye, a series starring Bill Nye the Science Guy, for the daily online series, the 10 Show, and was the Post Production Supervisor for the A&E series, Knievel’s Wild Ride. Her Public Television credits include the award winning Affluenza and Escape from Affluenza, Benaroya Hall, Home at Last, the first live High Definition performance produced for television and Hall for All, a program that celebrated Seattle’s opera house, McCaw Hall. Other Broadcast credits include: Dream Catchers on KOMO, Big Night Out for the Seattle Channel.

Her film credits include: Prey, a short, Seattle International Film Festival, Fly Film Beacon Hill, documentaries Dying for Meth, and, Theater Amigo, a documentary about the U.S. State Department sending acting instructors to political hotspots in South America. Her other screenplays include: a full-length version of Prey, The All Aboard Café and a TV pilot, Burl and Ludeen. She has also written and directed many corporate and educational videos.

Chris' Short Screenplay was showcased at the WILDsound Screenplay Festival in August 2008
