Cecilia Araneda Bio
Winnipeg-based, Chilean-born Cecilia Araneda holds a B.F.A. (hons.) in Theatre from York University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from U.B.C. To date, Araneda has completed six short films which have screened at film festivals and artist-run cinemas across Canada and around the world, and is currently in post production on two more films. Araneda is currently Executive Director of the Winnipeg Film Group and a member of the WNDX film curatorial collective.
