Cayle Chernin Bio

Toronto actor, writer, film maker, teacher Cayle Chernin got her start as Selina in Don Shebib's acclaimed feature Goin' Down the Road. There have been recurring themes: Mommie Dearest keeps popping up in various incarnations. "I've played a lot of bad mothers", grifters, cult following mass murdering mama's. Mind you, every now and then she gets to be a good Mommy like the doting Mom in a current Canadian Tire Commercial or Rose the suburban housewife in Anita Doron's award winning Not a Fish Story.

Cayle's signature is that she is often unrecognizable from one role to the next. Demo reel can be viewed at www.cayle.ca
