Cary Brooks has been directing short films and experimental videos since 1999, including 'Final Exam', which won the Audience Pick Award at the 2006 Local Shorts Festival in Albuquerque. He was an invited guest artist for the 2004 International Digital Art Awards for his short 'Limbo', and is currently working on a series of very short-form digital films. STORY of GIRL ALONE Two girls play with a talking 'spirit' board one summer afternoon -- one sees it as a game, the other as something more disturbing. The chilling message they receive affects each of them differently. One seems to come away from the experience quite frightened. Or is she ? Showcased their SHORT FILM at WILDsound's January 2009 Short Film Festival event.
