Bus Kong was the winner of the Farewell Routemaster Film Challenge and winner of The South London Shorts Competition 2006 Award for Best Animated Short, commemorating the end of the London Routemaster bus commuter service. Ed lives and resides in London, England and is prepping his next untitled animation film.

Ed Hartwell also directed the short film TIME LOOTERS, about Rupert Tofton, a man who builds a time machine and intends to use it to steal a treasure map from Big Beard the pirate. The entire film was voiced by JOE GROSSI, a notable English actor
