Brett Ratner: Born in Florida in 1969, Ratner attended NYU film school, and got into the business through directing music videos. His flashy stylings and pop savvy made a hit of 1998’s Rush Hour, which solidified Ratner as a mainstream power-player. With a varied directorial body of work including Red Dragon (2002) and X-Men 3 (2006), Brett is also heavily involved in producing. Ratner is currently attached to the long-gestating resurrection of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise.
