Boyana Balta Bio

Boyana Balta was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. She began her career as a ballet dancer studying with Vitek Winca at the Hamilton Ballet School. A former member of the Canadian Ballet Youth Ensemble, Ms. Balta took part in numerous productions including Babar, Carnival des Animaux, and Robert DesRosiers' Pinocchio and graced the stage with the likes of Karen Kain, Serge Lavoie, Frank Augustin, and RobertDesRosiers.

Boyana began studying acting at the age of 11 doing 4 consecutive summers with the acclaimed Theatre Aquarius School under the direction of Lou Zampronga. She has also taken countless workshops and classes and has been in numerous plays and several films including A&E's the Big Heist starring Donald Sutherland, You Stupid Man starring Milla Jovovich, Billy Baldwin, and Denise Richards and most recently was the lead character in a short film about a rape victim entitled "Just Breathe."
