SYNOPSIS:

Emma is an attractive girl in her 20s who has been blind for 20 years. A new type of eye operation partially restores her sight, but she is having problems: sometimes she doesn't "remember" what she's seen until later. One night she is awakened by a commotion upstairs. Peering out of her door, she sees a shadowy figure descending the stairs. Convinced that her neighbour has been murdered she approaches the police, only to find that she is unsure if it was just her new eyes playing tricks on her.

REVIEW:

My eyes are closed to the world. I stay within darkness. I know not of beauty and light. I just live, untouched by what I cannot see, but are the monsters still there, shadows to my mind? If I look upon this world, will I see horror, or will love meet my eyes?

We stumble in the dark, lost from ourselves. We struggle to not fall, but we never see what lies around the corner. We try to understand life, but its game could tie us up in knots. And light shines over this world, but do we remain blind, or are our eyes finally open wide?

What if the one to harm us were to catch us in his sight? Would we see the danger hovering around them? Would we glimpse the monster buried within? If we looked away, would they disappear, or would we find them behind us, waiting to strike?

For twenty years, Emma Brody walked in the dark. Music breathed life through her soul, and the violin was her voice, carrying her emotions across the strings for all to hear. And she knew not of dangers that lurked beneath shadows, but her heart remained blind to love dancing before her. And after two decades of not seeing the world, her eyes begin to open.

With new vision, life came into view, but the lines of past and future blur together. And a glimpse of darkness warns of danger to come, but is it really just a hallucination? And as the danger becomes real, she finds herself hunted by a killer, intent on taking back what she was given, and the darkness creeps closer to consume her. But would she surrender, or would she confront her darkest moment and silence the monster standing before her?

As her life hangs in the balance, love slips in under the guise of one detective, who questions all that she sees. Wrapped in his arms, her heart finds rescue, but the danger remains close. And as love and duty clash, the image of protection shatters, and the heart is cut deep. But if she could survive the monster, would love return in the end to sweep her off her feet?

The bow strikes the strings, chords to a powerful story unfolding before us. Music pours forward, and the heart and soul of one is brought to life through the hands of an actress, whose character struggles to find her place in a world that she could now see. And the beat moves faster, sweeping us away into mystery and suspense. And through the passion of music do we fall into the arms of love, but as the final act is on approach, we cling to hope that the darkness will fall. And in a blink of an eye, we are left watching light reign over dark, strength overcoming fear, and love waiting to soar.
