I am a script-reader and writer, sharing my time between South Wales, and just outside London.
I first became interested in Cinema upon enrolling for a BA degree in the subject and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. There I met, and was tutored by, several inspiring individuals from the world of television film and academia. These included John Hefin (BBC, Grand Slam etc), Ben Halligan (Film academic) and Nigel Orillard (screen-writing tutor, International Film school Wales). Moved by their knowledge and passion, as well as the myriad of wondeful films and texts to which they exposed me, I became determined to pursue a career directly relating to creativity in cinema.
Sunsequent to my graduation, I went on to the International Film school Wales where I futhered my studies, had the oppurtunity to meet many successful film-makers and writers, and began to specialise in the craft of writing for the screen. Once I had completed my Masters degree, I have editied and consulted on scripts in a freelance capacity- mainly on student projects. I have also written several freelance articles for publications such as the prestigious "Seven Global", from which my work has been cited in several national newspapers.
I am currently writing a first draft, feature length screenplay for "Dragons Productions", and am currently in negotiations to rake charge of several rewrites on fully funded productions.
