Ben Mor

Born in Israel, Ben Mor moved to Nigeria at the young age of four where his father was integral in developing Nigeria's highway infrastructure. Ben spent his formative years in Nigeria with barely any exposure to television or telephones, forcing him to rely on his already active imagination for entertainment. When he was ten years old yet another transition brought his family to Los Angeles. While still in high school he formed a band called Blood of Abraham, with his best friend Mazik.

While performing around LA, Eazy-E, of NWA fame, saw the act and signed the group to his label, Ruthless Records, shortly thereafter. With Blood of Abraham, Ben has toured all of the US several times and also Europe, citing tours with Public Enemy and Blackalicious as the most memorable. During this time Ben began making beats, producing much of his own work as well as producing for other bands. This led him to begin scoring commercials for directors and opened the doors for him to the film world. He began writing treatments for well-known directors and continued scoring high profile projects. He was given the opportunity to collaborate directorially, with director, Brian Beletic, on much acclaimed commercial spots, such as Reebok "Defy Convention". In 2002 Ben was signed as a Director with the excellent SMUGGLER PRODUCTIONS where he has been ever since.

To date he has directed commercials, music videos, and short films. He is a director whose creativity and raw style lend his film an immense cinematic quality, no matter the budget or tools he is given to work with. Mor has completed work for clients such as Pepsi, Verizon, ESPN, Tanqueray, Miller Genuine Draft, and music videos for Nas, John Legend with Kanye West, TI, and Juvenile.
