The THEME of the July 2009 Film Festival was CROSSROADS OF CHANGE. Each film presented a defining moment in the main character's lives and nothing will ever be the same again. From a death of a loved one, to choosing life over murder, from new inventions made, to karma coming back to bite you. Every film gave us that defining more of change that we all have or will have in our own lives.

There was also the presence of mainstream religion in all of the films too. It seems that the image of Jesus hung over all of the characters in either a positive or negative way. With the various genres, countries and styles showcased at the event, it was interesting to see how this element of our existence always crept up in each film.

It was another mixed bag of films from all over the world with all sorts of budgets, shooting formats, genres and moods.

After 27 festival nights using the FEEDBACK session, these nights continue to be unique and different every single time. No event has ever been the same.
