The THEME of the August 2009 Film Festival was ISOLATION WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD. Each film presented main characters who are feeling separation from their surroundings. From an artist looking to redo his work after it's in the museum, to a young girl and her grandfather thinking the world is about to fall. A penguin about to get his end, to a suffering world seen from a animation point of view. Or a filmmaker lacking any support, to a Russian immigrant not understanding the western mentality. All films gave us people looking for connections inside of the world presented to us.

It was another mixed bag of films from all over the world with all sorts of budgets, shooting formats, genres and moods.

After 28 festival nights using the FEEDBACK session, these nights continue to be unique and different every single time. No event has ever been the same.
