Tones is having trouble coming up with ideas for a new song. Until he looks out his window and sees a beautiful new neighbor across the street. With this new muse, Tones composes a love song just for her. But when he sends the song to her anonymously, he realizes first appearances can be extremely deceptive.

The THEME of the September 2009 Film Festival was HUMAN CONNECTION. Each film presented main characters who are looking to connect with someone but there are just too many obstacles in their way. From a mother attempting to live with an autistic son. A ballerina dancing for life. Brothers caught by the police after a spoiled bank robbery. A puppet memorized by the girl across the way. A young man realizing that he's never loved before. A office worker on a mission for fulfillment. And in our bonus film we had many characters spoiled in their present world by their inner demons.

It was another mixed bag of films from all over the world with all sorts of budgets, shooting formats, genres and moods.

After 29 festival nights using the FEEDBACK session, these nights continue to be unique and different every single time. No event has ever been the same.
