REVIEW:

Blood is thicker than water. The ties that bind can never be broken. Love will survive death. Family will always come first, but how far would we go to save the ones we love? What would we sacrifice to save their future?

No matter the road that we travel, we can never deny where we came from. No matter how far we run, we can never turn our back on those we love. We may never be able to return home once we leave, but the ties that bind will never break. And no matter how far off the road we fall, someone may still come to save our life.

Mistakes will always be made. We can try to forgive and forget. Sometimes, we can never take back what we have done, and we will have no choice but to confront the past. And sometimes, we will have to pay the ultimate price to set things right.

In a life of crime, the cost of what is done may have to be paid in blood, and family may have to pay that price. Our mistakes will weigh heavy upon their future, and a web of lies and death may have to be spun to restore order to chaos. But a touch of controversy could rip everything apart.

And on the heels of controversy, one man, Francis Sullivan is about to come face to face with the life that he thought he had left behind. Questions surface after the appearance of his dead brother, Sean in Hell's Kitchen, and answers sought may lead into a web of betrayal and murder. And the only way out may cost him everything, but redemption may clean the slate of his past sins. And his sacrifice may guarantee the future of those close to his heart.

Ash Wednesday is one of many tales told of the bonds of family such as movies like Four Brothers, We Own The Night, and Pride and Glory. The trials that we face define who we are to become, but the cost of our mistakes mold and break those close to our hearts. And the struggle for redemption, the price to set things right is the definition of life and overcoming the trials that we face.

Ash Wednesday is a dramatic tale told of one man torn between a life of crime and redemption. The story of his life sheds light over sins of his past that come back to haunt him and tear his life open, and twists and turns will lead us across the fabric of the human heart, touching on the chords of love, honor, and sacrifice. And the music played are strings on a violin, moving us heart and soul from story's beginning to end, and as the course of one man's life leads him to his final trial, a long chapter of history and legacy will finally come to a close. And his sacrifice will lead to a new chapter waiting to be written from those that he will save. This is a classic tale of family and how far we will go for the ones that we love.
