You're listening an interview from WILDsound radio with Alvin Campana and his filmmaking team on Monday July 14 2008Alvin Campana is a Toronto-based filmmaker and musician. A graduate of Sheridan College's Media Arts program, he has directed a number of short films and television specials. He has also served as writer, editor and visual effects artist for several independent projects and corporate videos. His credits include 'Musical Chairs' (2002) and 'Mastermind: The Magik of Erik Mana' (2006), both in which he also served as score composer. His short film, 'Premiere' (2007), was recently accepted into the Floating Film Festival, one of the most exclusive festivals in the world, as well as the Mississauga International Film Festival. He is now working with colleagues on developing a series based on the award winning short. Alvin's music credits include Forward Theatre's Romeo and Juliet (2008), where he created all incidental music and sound design for the play.
Currently, Alvin is editing an independent feature film, 'New Year', and works as editor and visual effects artist for 'Departures', the acclaimed new travel show for the Outdoor Life Network, all the while in development for his next film 'Lucious & Sumat', which begins production Summer 2008.
