Adam McKay: Born in 1968 (birthplace in dispute), McKay’s early career was as a comedy performer, a member of Second City and co-founder of “The Upright Citizens Brigade”. In the latter ‘90s as a writer and shorts director for Saturday Night Live, McKay teamed with future film collaborator Will Farrell. Adam’s feature directorial debut was 2004’s Anchorman, and he has helmed two other Farrell hits. The two launched the influential comedy site Funny or Die.
