Daren in Brief - A SECOND OPINION

In a daze somewhere in the middle of Watchmen, I start to wonder why exactly Billy Crudup took the role of the voice of the omnipotent Dr. Manhattan. There’s the money, sure. The exposure, absolutely. (How many people in the opening night audience knew who the hell Billy Crudup was?) But could there also be a little vanity at work, considering the good doctor’s computer generated.. er.. design? What actor wouldn’t want to be associated with that kind of god-like physique?

Dr. Manhattan? How about Dr. Man-Hanging?

No, I wasn’t that caught up in the movie.
