REVIEW:

Whispers of love fell like soft, red rose petals. White doves of dreams drifted through intricate lace. Beauty smiled a million times, stealing breath away, and silence spoke a thousand words. And happiness shined like a brilliant beacon, nearly breaking its heart, and anticipation rose with every step down the small aisle. And hands clasped over forever, molding into one, and their love rained down over her. But she remained alone, still waiting for him.

Did he see her? Did he realize that she was there, waiting to be seen? His gaze held hers, and she smiled at his every word. His hand fell against her arm, but was he reaching for her heart? Silence touched her lips, but her love for him was bursting at the seams. And then he slipped from her grasp and fell into the arms of another, and she was left standing alone. But could she break his heart, pulling him back, or would she let him go?

Her heart yearned for him, and her years were spent in waiting. She drifted across the sea of love, and all her devotion poured into their perfect day. Her spirits soared with their happiness, but when would her day come? When would he see her, waiting for him, or was she to lose him to someone else? And would her desire for him turn her true love away, never realizing until it was too late?

Tonight would be the night. Her heart would no longer lie dormant, and her love would be set free. And she catches him in her sight. Quick steps moved her closer, and she reached for him. And he reached for her, a blonde stranger, and he held her tight. And Jane was left standing to the side, watching the man of her dreams fall head over foot for her little sister.

Her life revolved around the happiness of others, and she doted to their every need. But tension now pulled at her heart, and she watched him slip away. She struggled to hold on, forcing a placid smile, but another was becoming a thorn in her side. And he refused to let go, peeling back the fabric of who she was, but was she ready to change? Would the ugly truth set her free?

No. Their love was a lie, and the truth had to be known. She would no longer remain quiet, standing to the side, but would he return to her? Or was it time to let him go? An empty kiss lingered across her lips, and his deep eyes searched her heart. But her love found someone else, but did she realize too late? Layers of her life fell away, and she flew into the arms of chance. And she found him there, still waiting for her.

Love is the stranger that walks beside us, and we struggle to see through its facade. But we find ourselves lost, drifting through 27 shades of red, and what if we fall for the one not of our dreams? Would we look deeper, pulling away the layers of our life, and throwing the past away? Would we take hold of chance, dare to be brave, and no longer cling to a life that has kept us standing on the sideline? Would love then come and sweep us off our feet, but how do we know who to love? The answer lies in our heart, but are we ready to listen? And intricate lines of love’s battlefield draws us in closer, holding us tight, and stealing our breath away with passion and humor in 27 Dresses.
